Amazing place with 24-hour reception, free Wi-Fi, and a comfortable lounge area. I remember how the staff helped me with bug spray on my first stay. For great service, I highly recommend it!

The hotel was gorgeous and clean with lovely views of the cathedral. The staff was very welcoming and pleasant, and the service was thoughtful. My breakfast was tasty and delicious. It was centrally located, near a prominent opera house. In lively area I found an opera house and a gallery near the venue. My stay was great here.

Excellent position near Plaza del Sol.
The hotel is being refurbished. The new rooms seem to be quite Ok, but old rooms are old and not well kept but at least clean. So try to make sure that you are offered a new room not an old one.

I had already stayed in this hotel, was undergoing renovation, on a previous occasion, on this new visit I was able to enjoy the facilities as soon as possible, were very beautiful and modern. Located in a pedestrian area a few meters from the Puerta del Sol, Royal Palace, Gran Via and Plaza Mayor already gives an idea of the comfort to have in short distances of various attractions to visit. also allows a very practical access to the subway and suburban trains that facilitate mobility throughout the city and mainly to the Atocha station which can be accessed in a few minutes through any of the mentioned means. attention of the staff is excellent, confirming the experience of the previous visit. rooms as well as the bathrooms are very comfortable and spacious. They are very quiet, special for a good rest. It has a frigobar and very good wifi signal. very good breakfast is presented on the ground floor in a very modern dining room. In short, it is the second time I visit it and it has conquered me again, without a doubt it is my option for accommodation in Madrid.

Staff very helpful, carried bags, spoke a bit of english. location was excellent, beds comfy and shower was superb.
TV kept losing the connection whilst on bbc world, although the french doors had double glazing which was good, the noise level in the night time was very highm but it comes with the territory, you can't have a hotel in central Madrid without having noise.

Centrally located hotel, so close to many restaurants as well as a very active pedestrian street. And 10 mins walk to a huge plaza. Contemporary room with a very quick check in and exceptionally comfortable beds.

I was impressed with this hotel the minute i stepped into the reception, the staff behind reception were very helpful and the room was absolutely beautiful and comfortable, very modern and above all very clean. Breakfast was simple but more than enough to start the day and surely satified for what we paid for our 3 nights. The location is great and Opera metro station is less than 2minutes walk to hotel. I will definetely stay in this hotel on my next visit to lovely Madrid.
No complaints whatsoever

location of the hotel is excellent and has a good quality/price ratio, especially compared to other establishments in the area. facilities are completely renovated, with a modern style, perhaps a little excessive in the breakfast room, functional and comfortable in the rooms. Also, dimensions of both the room and bathroom are more than correct and there is a reception open 24 hours and staff is attentive. We had a problem with the first room we were assigned ( noise and some cold ) and they changed us to a better room without any problem. We can't give an opinion about the breakfast because we didn't hire it. Without a doubt a very recommendable option.
I asked for a quiet room, first one was not, for it was on a first floor overlooking Hileras Street, there was a lot of noise coming from the street, even with the windows closed. Also, being a first floor and having nothing underneath, floor and all the space underneath the room was quite cold. We protested and asked for a change and were moved to another room on the fourth floor which was much quieter and warmer.

I must say that i am very excited from Fransisco I because it everything very good!!!The staff, the location in the city with 3 metro stations near the hotel, the room was very good with many comforts!!!Near the hotel was many food selections!!!You could go everywhere you want just by foot!!!The palace was so close to the hotel!!! The shops the discotheques was very close to the hotel!!!I would suggested for everyone who want to spend his vacation in Madrid!!!
The only that i would say is that the breakfast it would be a little more rich!!!

Although it is an oldish Spanish-style hotel our rooms appeared to have recently been refurbished to a high modern standard. It is ideally situated within easy walking distance of the Palacio Real and the Plaza Mayor, as well as having a Metro station at either end of the street.
My only personal criticism is that I felt the breakfast was somewhat disappointing - the orange juice tasted like it was squash rather than juice, the only hot food available was toast, and as well as hot food I would have liked to see something like cold meats available.

I loved the location in a pedestrianized street made it easy to walk anywhere and all public transport on te doorstep quiet except for a few reveller singing on their way home at dawn. The staff were very helpul on reception
Not all rooms have air conditioning so you have to specify when booking that you want air conditioning and pay more the public rooms are hot and there is no bar although plenty of bars close by

Lovely modern room, very close to everything we needed. Despite there being a busy street below, it was very quiet in the room.
The staff were very friendly, but didnt speak great English.
